Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) Online

What is a Digital Signature Certificate?

A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is the electronic equivalent of a physical signature. Issued by licensed Certifying Authorities, it verifies your identity when you sign documents and forms online. A Class 3 DSC is the standard required today for most government portals.

Where you need a DSC

  • Company and LLP incorporation and annual MCA filings
  • GST registration and returns for companies and LLPs
  • Income tax returns that require digital signing, including audit reports
  • E-tenders, GeM and e-procurement portals
  • DGFT applications such as the Import Export Code

Types of DSC

  • Signing DSC – for signing documents and forms (most common).
  • Encryption DSC – for encrypting documents, required on some tender portals.
  • Combo DSC – signing and encryption together.

Certificates are available for individuals and for authorised signatories of organisations, with validity of one, two or three years.

How issuance works

Your identity is verified online using Aadhaar e-KYC or PAN-based verification along with a short video recording. Once approved, the certificate is downloaded onto a secure USB token.
