FSSAI Registration & Licence
Basic registration, state or central food licence.
Keep your food business running. FSSAI licence renewal before expiry, and modification when your address, products or capacity change – filed on FoSCoS.
An FSSAI registration or licence is valid for the period chosen when it was issued – one to five years. It must be renewed before it expires. A late renewal attracts a late fee, and once the licence lapses the business must stop food operations until a fresh licence is obtained.
Apply for a modification when something on the licence changes:
A move to a different licensing authority, or an upgrade from registration to a State or Central licence, may need a fresh application instead.
We check your licence and pending annual returns, file the renewal or modification on FoSCoS and answer any queries from the food safety officer. Don’t have a licence yet? Start with FSSAI registration. Licensed manufacturers should also file the FSSAI annual return.
